Nothing is for Sure!: With repeated exposure, the other person is much more likely to get herpes 2 virus but there are many factors involved. If it is a single encounter, they may not, but with repeated contact it is more likely than not that they will eventually get it - esepcially during unprotected sexual activity but even with protection, it can be passed.
