Maybe: The diazepam is at a somewhat high dose. The lexapro (escitalopram) is not unusual dose . Why are you on the methotrexate. ? Your GAD might be managed a little better but you may need some meds that are a little more effecticve in treating your problem See someone qualified to treat anxiety and depression.

Are they working: for you?I cannot second guess your treating physician. This is something you need to work out with your doctor. If you can't come to an understanding, you could obtain a second opinion. These type drugs must be managed by a physician well versed in this field. Best of luck.
