Second opinion. : It is reasonable to just watch a simple ovarian cyst if it is not causing pain. You are the person who's having to tolerate the pain. It is not unreasonable to have the cyst removed to relieve the pain. If you are not comfortable with her doctors plan then get a second opinion. Hope this helps.
