Maybe: Abdominal swelling can be normal up to 4-6 weeks after surgery due to the inflammation and healing from the inside where surgery was done as well as because of the incision healing. Just make sure the wound looks ok and is not swollen because of an infection, where it will be red, very tender and may even have drainage. If this is the case, then you should see your surgeon.
