Is it Anemia?: For an adult female, normal HGB and HCT range from 12.0-15.5 and 34.9-44.5, respectively. You are within normal range, but low normal. As for the red count, this should range from 3.9-5.03; again, you are within the normal range, but low normal. Anemia - by definition - means a red count below 3.9, so you are not anemic. However, you must have symptoms, so have a thorough work up by your provider.
