Fibroids: Can lead to many different problems. Frequently they are completely asymptomatic - meaning no problems or symptoms. Sometimes they can lead to irregular and heavy periods, pain, pain with sex or with periods, pressure, and infertility. Malignancy is EXCEEDINGLY rare contrary to what some in the media have trumped up. They usually shrink after the menopause. Treatment depends on multiple factors.
