IT depends on where: and how big the fibroid is. Fibroids are typically inside the uterus, so as you say it is by the cervix there is certainly a risk of immense bleeding if a trocar or instrument is inserted into your cervix, which will happen if there is any instrumentation associated with abortion procedure. I would be very careful in making sure the healthcare provider performing this procedure has a strategy.
