A member asked:

What are the complications of dialectical behavioral therapy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: DBT is a treatment approach used by therapists trained in it.It heals by teaching life skills in 4 categories: mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal and distress tolerance.Clients using DBT work on it outside of therapy & can learn it through individual or group therapy. It is neither a medicine nor a cure-all,but can be really effective when used well, in and out of the therapy office.
