Targets specific: Behaviors using well established learning principles such as positive & negative reinforcement, shaping, exposure, extinction and infrequently, punishment. Usually specific behaviors are targeted such as head banging, tantrums, refusal to participate, etc. These principles are often used in weight loss, cigarette cessation, and shyness training programs. Requires lots of expertise to do well!
