Useful for imaging..: In my field of Diagnostic imaging, the main benefit of x-rays is not related to the effects they produce on the body directly, but instead is related to their ability to produce pictures of the internal structures within the body to help with making a diagnosis of problems that may exist. In a branch of medicine called radiation therapy, x-rays can be focused on areas of cancer to destroy it

X-rays are useful: in producing numerous types of x-rays and CT scans in medical imaging, enabling fast and accurate diagnoses, and monitoring the course, of many conditions.
