Lots of choices: But the main exercises that trainers will start with are sprints (focusing on bringing knees high), squats (you don't need to use weights if you are just starting), if you have access to a stair master machine - that is also a great quad exercise. Lunges are also great for the quads, as are leg extension machines if you belong to a gym (since the primary role of the quad is to extend your leg).
