Itching: Generalized itching in the absence of a rash may be due to excessive dryness of the skin. Other possible causes are thyroid disorders, some blood dyscrasias, diabetes, certain malignancies. If it's dry skin, apply alpha keri lotion after a shower or bath while the skin is still wet as this restores necessary skin oils. Otherwise see your physician for evaluation and appropriate testing
