See doctor: It may be as minor as a bleeding spot at the nasal septum but other causes should be ruled out. You need to have your doctor check your nose to find out the cause. Usually a bleeding point at the septum can easily be treated with cauterization which takes seconds to perform.

Cancer unlikely: It may be due to dry air. Try using a humidifier in your bedroom.
