Calm down.....: Relax, there is nothing terribly unusual about discovering the existence of various pulse points throughout the body. The aorta is the largest vessel leaving the heart and as the heart pulses, so goes the aorta. It's unusual that a 17 yo girl would ask about this, so i wonder if you've discovered a family history of AAA.
