What effects can hypersomnia have on your brain and body? i mean like sleeping most of the day, only being awake for maybe 2 hrs at a time.

Medication effects: Thank you for informing-Depression, Lexapro (escitalopram), (escitalopram) Lamictal, and Seroquel. All of them can cause Hypersomnia.
Using Lexapro (escitalopram) with Seroquel can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm.
Discuss with Psychiatrist:
•Diagnosis of Sleep Disorder, Medication side effect, Depression, Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder
•Side effects of Medications and interactions
•Decrease dose of some medications
•Therapy
