Ovulation: Depending on how long your periods are and the time between your periods, it could be ovulation bleeding or it could be a hormone imbalance. Although there are other causes and assuming you performed a pregnancy test which was negative, this should resolve over 2 to 4 cycles back to your normal cycle.
