Naproxen: Is not recommended with breast feeding. When taken 2 times a day, it is always detected in the body. All the best.

Discuss: Please discuss this w/ your doctors and the child's too. Depending on your specifics there may be good suggestions. If this is very short term pain vs chronic? If you child is ready to wean? Others too. Get ideas from them. Best!

6-8 hours: A 2 year old is probably not breastfeeding for mostly nutritional value, so finding 2 points over a day at least 6 hrs after the medication should be doable to keep its safe and keep your 2 year old happy
