A member asked:

Can you take naprogesic (naproxen sodium) for ovulation pain too? my cousins said it worked for them. would you take 1 or 2?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes...: Naproxen is effective at treating the pain associated with ovulation or menstruation, assuming you're not trying to get pregnant. If you are trying to get pregnant avoid all NSAIDs (naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin). The number of pills depends on the strength of tablet you have. You can take 200-500mg every 8 hours, not to exceed 1000mg per day.
