Allergies: Does he have GERD? Sometimes the reflux which can reflux into sinuses worsens allergies . Elevate head of bed with pillow under mattress. consider 1/2 to1 benedryl at night before bed ( no driving on benedryl), 1 zyrtec in AM ,and ranitidine for GERD( if appropriate) and allergies May need antihistamine/steroid nasal spray or singulair (montelukast) ( prescription) f/u /w/ doc/ allergist
