I'm being tested for coeliac disease. will one glass of wine or one beer affect these results in my blood?

Yes: ASny product that contains glutein will produceing anti-bodies that test in blood or on biopsy if you have a tendency fro celiac disease. it may not affect the overall diagnosis for the most part. In fact one glass safely consumed should not be a factor.

Beware of beer: Beer and whiskey are produced using grains with gluten and would be the equivalent of eating a slice of bread. Many docs actually want you to be on your regular diet when testing because total exclusion can reduce the amount of circulating antibody that they look for.I don't think it would hurt, but if it comes back positive you may need to be very selective in what you drink.
