IT COULD BE.: A nerve entrapment or arthritic conditions can cause heel pain. If not getting better, I like an ultrasound exam or MRI to measure the thickness of the fascia, which thickens w/ fasciitis. The normal thickness is approximately 2 mm. If all non-surgical treatment fails, I like the Topaz procedure; ask your doctor. Good luck. Dr. Latva

A real commitment..: So, what have you been doing to promote healing. Fasciitis is an over use problem. part of the treatment is under using it. Plantar fasciitis is a relatively easy condition to diagnose, unfortunately, the treatment for many people conflicts with their job, lifestyle or commitment for the time necessary to effect the cure.
