Is suboxone withdrawal as severe as methadone withdrawal? or normal opiate withdrawals? i've been on 18mg for about 3 months & have a high metabolism.

Its probably not: as severe, but everyone is different and reacts differently.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.

18 mg is an unusual dose of suboxone. What makes withdrawal from both buprenorphine and methadone challenging is that the withdrawal lasts a long time as compared to shorter acting opioids. In any event, to withdraw from suboxone (18mg is a lot) without medical advice and oversight is potentially a life threatening mistake because of subsequent overdoses and other consequences of OUDs.
