5 day of wisdom teeth removal and right side of face is still swollen is this normal.

Yes: If you have no pain and if the swelling is not increasing things are probably OK. Start applying moist heat to the swollen area for 20 minutes at a time to help the swelling go down. If there's no improvement in a few days time, go see your surgeon for a follow up.

Perhaps: You had surgery. Swelling post-surgically is normal. May take up to two weeks to resolve. If you are unsure, especially if you have pain, bad taste, or other symptoms, return to your specialist Oral Surgeon for a post-surgical reevaluation which is part of the overall surgical process that you have already paid for.
