Hgb 10.7 x2 mos. ago- taking oral iron- now 11.6- ferritan went from 6 to7 in 2 mos- dr said iv iron, is this necessary?

May be too early: having a hemoglobin go from 10.7 to 11.6(almost 1 point) in 2 months while taking oral iron is great. i don't think you need iv iron at this time. would recommend a follow up hemoglobin.
