A member asked:

I'm taking 15 mg aripiprazole as prescribed. i don't feel anything. how do i know i need it? what's the possible long-term side effects?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends upon: Why you’re prescribed it. Aripiprazole is used for certain mood disorders, psychosis, etc, and how long you’ve been taking it. The changes may be subtle over time. Long term effects may include movement disorders (EPS/TD), changes in blood chemistry/glucose, etc, and others. Please discuss these issues with your prescriber. Good luck!
