Abilify (aripiprazole): This depends on what you are using it for & what it is used with. Alternative psychotropic medications can include seroquel, geodon, risperdal, saphris, (asenapine) fanapt, latuda.

Many alternatives: Abilify (aripiprazole) is classified as a 2nd generation antipsychotic. Included in this group are drugs like seriquel, rispderal, zyprexa, etc. Though they are in the same group, their side effect profile does vary somewhat. Talk to your physician about the problems with Abilify (aripiprazole) and see if an alternative is the answer.
