NO: Sleep apnea, like TMJ/TMD can be maintained but never really cured. There are many life changes that one can make to possibly decrease the severity of the sleep apnea such as losing weight, throat surgery, change of diet and supplements, altering your bed and pillows, etc. Obviously, a CPAP machine is the Cadillac of devices, but mouthpieces can certainly help if one cannot tolerate the CPAP
