What is failure?: Failure means different things to different people. Normal, fertile young couples who are having lots of sex, should be able to get pregnant within 9 months of trying. Many get pregnant within 3-4 months, but a couple hasn't failed unless they've been having lots of sex for 9-12 months and still haven't gotten pregnant. So, the question is, what does "fails" mean?
