I'm think i have endometriosis, but my symptoms are mostly managed by birth control. is there any reason to make a doctor appt just for a diagnosis?

Endometriosis: Is a condition in which the lining of the uterus instead of shedding and coming out during your period,, it can grow on internal organs. The only true way to diagnosis it is with surgery. However if you symptoms are controlled then birth control then then diagnosis is not going to change the management. Though there are other conditions that can present similarly to endo.
