How can you tell if the fetus is tingled up in the umbilical cord? my baby is doing way less movement than usual, and he's only on one side.

Common issue: Babies that are tangled in their cord will generally start to show evidence of distress after labor starts if the tangling begins to decrease blood flow through the cord. It is unusual for that tangling to produce any changes during the stable pre-labor period.Diminished movement late in pregnancy can reflect lack of room as kicks turn more into shuffles.
