No risk, no worry: For the most part, government regulation -- especially in industrialized countries like Canada -- require plastics that come into contact with food to be entirely safe. Mostly there is no contamination of the food with the plastic or chemicals in it; or it is minor and believed to be harmless. This isn't anything to worry about.
