Not as much: Seizures from stress can be very disabling but are generally less dangerous than real seizures because they usually subside eventually. Real seizures can become continuous, a condition called status epilepticus.

Psychogenic non epileptic seizures, sometimes referred to as "stress seizures" can put the patient at risk for potential injury during the seizure like episodes. But these patients are also at risk of being treated with life changing unnecessary anti-epileptic meds, aggressive ER interventions, driving restrictions, and not having the benefit of needed psychological support. 1st Proper diagnosis
