Abn period: Would check HCG and consider sonogram. if there was a pregnancy and this is a miscarriage HCG may be negative. Sonogram would rule out ectopic, fetal demise, fibroids polyps all which can cause bleeding. There may be an associated sub-clinical infection Follow up with doc
