I had a 15cm x 8 cm schwannoma removed in october. the mri showed something in its place today. is it possible that the tumor regrown. can it b cancer?

Interpretation: The MRI may be detecting localized scar tissue or some residual Schwannoma, and there is no reason to suspect a new problem such as "cancer". However, you will gain far more information from the radiologist and your surgeon. Ask questions today.
