I have some numbness in my feet when i am standing, but not when i am lying down. i had an mri of thoracic/lumbar spine - disc protrusion at t-8 -2007?

Stenosis: Kathy it sounds like what you may have is something called spinal stenosis, I do not think that the bulging disc that you had in the upper part of your spine into thousand seven is causing you this problem. If you have difficulty with ambulating distances were your legs feel tired and heavywhen walking this could be the answer that you're looking for. My suggestion would be that you see in orthopewhen walking this could be the answer that you're looking for. My suggestion would be that you see in orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spinal surgery for a further evaluation and very possibly an MRI of your lumbar spine to assess the extent of spinal stenosis you may have. Since its 9 years: later, you may want to repeat the MRI and or also get an EMG/NCV study..
