I had a ct scan and the report suspects a 1mm non obstructing stone in my right kidney. is it something i need to worry about?

Usually not a issue: In general, kidney stones that are just sitting in the kidney tissue itself don't cause problems. They become a problem when they start moving into the collecting system and into the ureter( tube from kidney that connects to bladder). That's when you start to have pain.
