Schedule an exam: What happens as the mole heals is hard to predict. It probably has more to do with your skin tone and propensity for healing than anything else. Visit your doctor for any of the following: Asymmetric moles, have irregular Borders, have varying Color, are larger in Diameter than a pencil eraser, or are Elevated above the level of the surrounding skin.
