Avoid narcotics: in elderly patients. OK to use small doses of ibuprofen ( 200-400mg) 2-3 times a day if she is not allergic. It seems that YOU want to treat with Tylenol (acetaminophen) with codeine- never do that!- consult a physician unless you want a tragedy.
