What's the connection between hypothyroidism and chronic sinusitis ?

Remote: There is no direct connection between the two . However one can guess that hypothyroidism may be associated with nasal congestion -> obstruction on the sinus openings-> sinusitis. Yet there is no reason why the hypothyroidism cannot be treated to allow this sequence to occur.
