Dr. James Lin answered

Okay ...: Inability to urinate results from poor working coherence between urinary sphincter and bladder. Leaving a catheter for a while is right temporary thing to do. Most of patients after bladder neck incision will be able to void with a better urine flow than that before the procedures provided they still could void before surgery. More? Ask your urologist.
