This is telling U--: -that Ur lowest disk space has some deterioration, that's what loss of height means. Mild 2 mod is self explanatory. There is a bulge from the disk space central, meaning in the middle of the disk. The good news is it's not severe, it does not effect the nerve roots in the spinal canal as well as in the lateral recess, alongside the disk, & not @ the foramen where nerves exit thru a tight space.

Answer: At the L5-S1 level, you appear to have a degenerating disc which is bulging, which means minor, and no description of herniation or nerve compression. This may merely be a manifestation of "wear and tear" and unlikely to explain back pain, if that is your complaint.
