Wrist pain: The pain that you're experiencing could be related to the carpal bones of the wrist, the grasping motion or squeezing could cause pain in the region of the scapholunate area and there could be a disruption of the ligamentous structures and complexes that hold those two bones together, rest and immobilization with an over-the-counter risk went for 1 to 2 weeks maybe beneficial if it persists more than 2 to 4 weeks with the splint and anti-inflammatorthopedic evaluation y medicatins maybe warranted with x-rays and possibly MRI
