Depo contraception: Depoprovera injections typically are very successful at pregnancy prevention though not 100% fool proof. The longer on depo, the longer it will take you to ovulate and then become pregnant. If you are trying for pregnancy you should be off the depoprovera and your ovulation pattern will start again in 3-6 months from the last Depo-Provera shot.
