Fuel storage: A fat body is a body with lots of fuel stored up, in the form of fat. Humans store fuel easily when they take in more fuel than they use. That means if a person eats more calories than he uses, his body will store the extra calories as fat... for use when a famine, earthquake, or war hits us. However, famines don't happen here, so fat bodies just stay as fat bodies and suffer health problems.
