A member asked:

Am a very average male but, all the fat goes to my belly area even do other parts of the body have little amounts of fat, is there a reason?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abdominal fat: Body fat can be located in many areas. In general, our bodies store fat in the abdominal region. Generally speaking, abdominal fat is either visceral (surrounding the abdominal organs) or subcutaneous (lying between the skin and the abdominal wall). Diet and exercise are two great ways to decrease overall body fat.
