Hemorrhoids: Veins in the anus are hemorrhoids. They can bleed and can be itchy as well. I recommend you seek physician's care to rule out other diseases.

Hemorrhoids: What you are describing sounds like a hemorrhoid. Local care with preparation H or a topical anti itch cream may help. If not follow up with your PMD.
