It sound to me: by the areas involved that you may have PSORIASIS! My suggestion is that you start by seeing a Board Certified Dermatologist...there are many TREATMENTS if that is the diagnosis. Over the counter steroid (cortisone) is a FIRST AID you can try....but check with your PCP for any other treatment if you cannot see a Dermatology specialist soon! Hope this helps! Dr z
