I'm not an alcoholic, but do binge. i might have to do a liver function test next fri, if i have alcohol tonight will it adversely effect the test?

Likely yes: Depending on how frequently and how much you binge, your liver may already show signs of injury, so your liver function tests will probably be elevated. I would suggest going to 12 Step meetings or seeking other forms of counseling and treatment if your binging is severe.
