A member asked:

An ent office 'sucked' a bunch of wax out of our 6-year old a year ago, but it's already coming back in bunches. is this normal? what can we do?

Some do some don't: Earwax accumulation varies in people in both texture and amount. Some make much more and some only a little. There are easily found ear wax removal solutions sold over the counter in grocery stores and pharmacies. If several drops of the solution is placed in the ears periodically the wax becomes more liquid and drains out.I would avoid any Q-tip use, it tends to push it in more than help in kids.
