Concern for std?: if you are concerned for a std, get tested. Its usually cheap. if positive you can take it. It doesnt cover all stds, so you have to have a particular std for it to work (chlamydia). it doesnt treat gonorrhea. Get tested before you self treat.

Yes,but taking: antibiotic without a reason is a poor and possibly dangerous,as well as unwise decision.
